Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting at West Sacramento Gas Station

West Sacramento police have apprehended a man in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred following a fight at a local gas station. The incident took place on Monday at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the Circle K gas station located at 1705 West Capital Ave, according to the West Sacramento Police Department.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.

The following day, on Tuesday, the police successfully arrested the individual wanted in connection with the shooting. Although the suspect’s identity has not been disclosed, authorities have confirmed that he is now facing charges related to the shooting, as well as possession of a handgun as a prohibited person. Additionally, the arrested individual had an unrelated felony warrant for firearm possession.

Law enforcement officials have determined that the shooting stemmed from a fight between two men and have confirmed that no other individuals are being sought in connection with the incident.
