Erendida and Chris’s love story began during Chris’s service in the Marines. Their deep connection led them to tie the knot 19 years ago, and they have been inseparable for 21 years. Together, they have built a beautiful family, with two children, 14-year-old Sophia and 10-year-old Parker.

The accident claimed Erendida’s life, but thankfully, Sophia, who was also involved in the crash, is expected to make a full recovery. The entire community is rallying around the Lane family during this difficult time.

To support the Lane family, the Louisville Metro Police Foundation (LMPF) has set up a donation drive. Additionally, donations can be made via Venmo using the account @LouisvilleMetro-PoliceFoundati.

Expressing their solidarity with the Lane family, LMPF stated, “Sergeant Lane and his children need our support. Together, we can alleviate their financial burden during this challenging time and secure a better future for his children.”
