Accident – death – Obituary News : Nevada State Police Seek Witnesses for Fatal Crash in Churchill County

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Nevada State Police (NSP) are appealing to the public for information and witnesses regarding a tragic fatal crash that took place in Churchill County last November. The incident occurred on November 16th, around 10:00 p.m., on US50A at Fulkerson Road in the county.

According to the initial investigation conducted by NSP, a 2006 Saturn Vue carrying two adults and three juveniles was traveling east on Fulkerson Road when it veered off the roadway to the right, onto the outside dirt shoulder. The vehicle then rotated counterclockwise and overturned.

The driver and front right passenger, both adults, were ejected from the car during the crash. The identity of the driver is still unknown to the authorities. Unfortunately, one of the adult occupants, 24-year-old Victoria Jasmin Villareal from Fallon, did not survive the injuries sustained and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second adult occupant was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Fortunately, the three juvenile passengers seated in the back of the car only sustained minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
