Two juveniles from Atlantic City have been charged in connection to the tragic fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy earlier this month. Authorities have since arrested two 16-year-olds in relation to the alleged crime. “A.C.,” the juvenile who was shot, is facing several charges, including second-degree aggravated assault for discharging his firearm at another person, fourth-degree pointing his firearm at another person, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit to carry. He was apprehended on January 9th and is currently being held at the Harborfields Atlantic Youth Center.

Another individual, identified as “L.C.,” has also been arrested and is facing charges that include second-degree aggravated assault for discharging his firearm at another person, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit to carry. “L.C.” was arrested on the same day as “A.C.” and is being held at the Essex County Youth Detention Center.
