Accident – death – Obituary News : Massachusetts State Police Identify Three Victims in Greenfield Plane Crash
The Massachusetts State Police have released the names of the three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Greenfield on Sunday. The victims have been identified as William Hampton, 68, of Indian Orchard, Mass., Chad Davidson, 29, of Woodstock, Conn., and Fredrika Ballard, 53, of Southwick, Mass.

Ms. Ballard was the owner of Fly Lugu Flight School, while Mr. Hampton served as a flight instructor at the school. Mr. Davidson was a student pilot at the Fly Lugu Flight School. This devastating accident has left the aviation community in mourning.
According to authorities, the crash occurred around noon on Sunday. The plane involved in the accident was a Beechcraft 55 Baron Twin-Piston with tail number N7345R, which was owned by Fly Lugu Flight School. The wreckage was discovered at approximately 12:33 PM in a clearing within the Leyden Wildlife Management Area in Greenfield.
Emergency responders from the Greenfield Fire Department and paramedics arrived at the scene and declared all three occupants deceased. Tragically, there were no other passengers on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.
