Family members of a Telangana student are left devastated and perplexed as they try to understand the cause of his untimely demise. The tragic incident occurred recently when two students, one from Wanaparthy in Telangana and another from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh, were found dead in their accommodation in Connecticut, United States. The victims have been identified as G Dinesh (22) from Telangana and Nikesh (21) from Andhra Pradesh.

The family members of the Telangana student, Dinesh, are struggling to come to terms with his sudden death, as well as the demise of his roommate. They received a shocking call from Dinesh’s friends, who live in a nearby room, informing them about the tragic incident. With no clarity on the cause of death, the family is left in a state of confusion and grief.

Dinesh had traveled to Hartford, Connecticut in the US on December 28, 2023, to pursue higher studies. Nikesh joined him a few days later, as they were mutual friends with some common acquaintances. The two became roommates in the US, unaware of the tragic fate that awaited them.

In their quest for answers and assistance, Dinesh’s family members have reached out to Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, seeking their support in bringing back Dinesh’s body to India. Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy has also extended her help to the grieving family, visiting them to offer her condolences and support.

Unfortunately, the family remains disconnected from Nikesh’s family, as they were recent acquaintances who had just embarked on their journey to the US. The Srikakulam district administration also lacks any information about Nikesh or his family members.

Expressing his condolences, MLA T Megha Reddy met with Dinesh’s family in Wanaparthy town and assured them of the government’s assistance in repatriating the student’s body from the United States. The Telangana Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, has responded positively to the MLA’s request, ensuring that arrangements will be made to bring Dinesh’s remains back to his hometown.

In this tragic turn of events, the Wanaparthy community mourns the loss of a promising young student who had embarked on a journey to fulfill his dreams. The circumstances surrounding his death remain shrouded in mystery, leaving his loved ones searching for answers and seeking closure.
