Slain Model Divya Pahuja Shot at Point-Blank Range, Bullet Recovered from Her Head, Autopsy Reveals

The post-mortem report of model Divya Pahuja, who was tragically killed, has revealed shocking details about the crime. The report states that she was shot at point-blank range and a bullet was recovered from inside her head. The autopsy was conducted by a team of four doctors, including two females, at Agroha Medical College in Haryana’s Hisar. After the postmortem, Pahuja’s body was handed over to her family for the last rites.

In a statement to the media, Subhash Boken, spokesperson of Gurugram Police, confirmed that after the postmortem, Pahuja’s family performed her last rites in Gurugram.

Tragic Killing of Divya Pahuja

Divya Pahuja, a 27-year-old model from Punjab, was brutally killed at a hotel in Gurugram. According to the police, she was taken to the hotel by five individuals, where the owner of the premises, Abhijeet Singh, shot her dead. The motive behind the crime was said to be Pahuja’s alleged extortion of money from Singh by blackmailing him with explicit pictures. However, Pahuja’s family has denied these claims.

Her body was later discovered in a canal in Haryana, indicating that it had been disposed of in Punjab and eventually drifted to the neighboring state.

Arrests Made in Connection with the Crime

The police swiftly apprehended three individuals involved in the heinous crime. Subsequently, two absconding accused, identified as Balraj Gill and Ravi Banga, were arrested at Kolkata Airport.

Divya Pahuja’s Troubled Past

Divya Pahuja had a criminal record and was previously accused of involvement in the murder of gangster Sandeep Gadoli. The incident took place at a hotel in Mumbai back in February 2016, and it was initially portrayed as an encounter involving several policemen. Pahuja, along with her mother and five police officers, was arrested in connection with the alleged ‘fake encounter’. The Mumbai Police claimed that Pahuja lured Gadoli into the hotel, where he was subsequently killed in what they deemed a staged encounter. Pahuja spent seven years in jail before being granted bail by the Mumbai High Court last year.
