Police have identified Maria Medeiros, an 82-year-old woman, as the victim of a tragic homicide in the Strathroy-area. The incident has resulted in murder charges against a man who shares the same last name. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) announced on Sunday that Maria Medeiros was found dead in a home on Wardell Drive, north of Strathroy. The officers were called to the scene at approximately 9 p.m. on January 11, which was last Thursday. The home is located about a 30-minute drive northwest of London.
