Third Suspect Charged in 2016 Neptune Township Shooting

A third person has been linked to a 2016 Neptune Township shooting that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man, according to investigators. Officers from the Neptune Township Police Department responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Andre Thorne, a 20-year-old from Bradley Beach, in the driver’s seat of a 2002 red Dodge Neon. Thorne had sustained a single gunshot wound and was immediately rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Tragically, Thorne succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital.
