The California Highway Patrol has reported that Jonathan Jackson, a 26-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was killed in a collision on December 21 in Vallejo, California. The Solano County Coroner’s Office has confirmed his identity.

The accident occurred on Highway 80 near the Georgia Street overcrossing at approximately 12:45 a.m. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a 2001 Lexus driven by Jackson and a 2007 GMC.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Jackson made a sudden movement to the right while driving his Lexus, causing a collision with the GMC. As a result of the impact, the Lexus veered off the road, striking two trees and a concrete wall before rolling over. Tragically, Jackson was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the GMC and a 9-year-old girl who was a passenger in that vehicle did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the details of the accident.
