Former Model Divya Pahuja Murder Case: Update on Investigations
In a shocking incident that unfolded on 2 January, Divya Pahuja, an accused in the ‘fake encounter’ case of gangster Sandeep Gadoli, was found dead at Hotel City Point in Gurugram. The police have made significant progress in the investigation, with four individuals, including the main accused Abhijeet Singh, being arrested in connection with the murder.
The latest development in the case involves the detention of two individuals, Ravi Banga and Gill, who were allegedly involved in disposing of Divya’s body. The Gurugram police had issued look-out circulars (LOCs) against them, and Gill has now been apprehended. The police managed to recover the car used to transport and dispose of Divya’s body.

Adding another twist to the case, a 20-year-old woman named Megha was arrested on 9 January for her alleged involvement in helping the accused dispose of the murder weapon. Megha, who works as a delivery executive and resides in Mitraon Extension in New Delhi’s Najafgarh, revealed during questioning that she knew Abhijeet Singh through an old friend.
During a press conference, ACP (Crime) Varun Dahiya disclosed that Megha confessed to assisting Singh not only in disposing of the weapon but also in getting rid of the victim’s personal belongings. This arrest further strengthens the police’s case against the accused and brings them closer to unraveling the truth behind Divya Pahuja’s tragic demise.
