CHICAGO –
A suspect has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Little Village last month.
Ernan Fernandez, a 23-year-old individual, is facing charges of first-degree murder and aggravated UUW/Vehicle/loaded/no FCCA issuance of warrant.
The arrest of Fernandez took place on January 9, 2024, following his identification as the primary suspect in the shooting of a 21-year-old man on December 4, 2023, in the 2800 block of S. Drake in Little Village.
Specific details regarding the events leading up to the shooting remain limited at this time.
Fernandez is scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing on January 11, 2024.
