Henrico County Police Investigating Double Homicide in Fairfield District
The Henrico County Police Division is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into a tragic incident of double homicide that took place in the Fairfield District overnight.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, law enforcement officers received a distress call regarding a shooting and subsequent vehicle collision in the 200 block of Engleside Drive.

Upon swiftly arriving at the scene, officers discovered two males inside the crashed vehicle, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Regrettably, one of the victims has been identified as 20-year-old Domonique Swan, a resident of Henrico. Tragically, Swan was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 29-year-old Spencer Bartee, also from Henrico, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite medical intervention, Bartee succumbed to his injuries and tragically passed away.
