The evening before her body was found, Middletown police responded to a report of Dollar assaulting a woman, later identified as Reddix, near the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College building on Main Street. Witnesses reported seeing Dollar punch Reddix and drag her down an alleyway, leaving her bleeding and in distress.

Tabetha, Reddix’s daughter, expressed her grief and anger towards Dollar during the court proceedings, saying, “He’s done nothing but hurt people.
