31-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Louisville’s Taylor Berry Neighborhood

The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is currently investigating a tragic incident that took place in the Taylor Berry neighborhood, resulting in the death of a 31-year-old man. The victim, identified as William Kannamore, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the 3300 block of Utah Avenue around 9:22 p.m. on Tuesday.

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, LMPD officers swiftly responded to the scene. They discovered Kannamore in critical condition, suffering from the gunshot wounds. In an effort to save his life, the officers administered immediate medical assistance, utilizing a chest seal and a tourniquet.

Following the initial emergency response, Kannamore was promptly transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. However, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, LMPD received the heartbreaking news that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.
