Accident – death – Obituary News : Kochi: Tragic accidents claimed the lives of two individuals in separate incidents in the district in the early hours of Wednesday. The first accident occurred after midnight along the national highway at Athani, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old woman identified as Sayana from Vyttila. The unfortunate incident took place when the car she was traveling in overturned, leading to the fatal accident. Following the completion of an autopsy, the woman’s body was handed over to her family.

In another unfortunate incident, a 27-year-old man named Vithul T S lost his life in a collision between two motorcycles in Kalamassery. The accident occurred at Pathadipalam, and the victim, who was riding pillion, sustained severe head injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries. According to the police, the motorcycle on which the victim was riding crashed into another motorcycle ahead of it, resulting in the tragic accident.

As he walked with his bike, a speeding MPV collided with them from behind, resulting in Shaji’s immediate death. The impact caused Shaji’s bike to fall on a scooter, critically injuring its rider, D Prasanth. The driver of the MPV, Chandrasekar, also lost his life in the accident after crashing into a tree.

Furthermore, a collision involving a motorcycle, two cars, and three other vehicles on the Doomdooma town bypass in Tinsukia district resulted in the death of a 24-year-old resident. The motorcycle collided head-on with a car, while another car collided with the bike from the rear end. The first car tumbled into a field, and the second car overturned on the road. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist lost his life at the scene, while approximately nine passengers from both vehicles sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
