TIRUPATI: Three individuals, including two women, tragically took their own lives in separate incidents across the Rayalaseema districts on Wednesday.

In the first incident, a middle-aged housewife named Anitha ended her life by hanging herself at her residence in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai district. Anitha had been subjected to continuous harassment by her husband Tiruppal, who was addicted to alcohol. Distressed and unable to bear the torment any longer, she chose to end her life. The authorities were alerted, and Puttaparthi CI Konda Reddy arrived at the scene to conduct an inspection. The body of the deceased was then taken for postmortem, and a case was registered.

The second incident involved a young man named Viswanath, a resident of Akkannapalli village in Tadipatri mandal. Viswanath tragically jumped in front of a moving train near Yellanur road in the early hours of Wednesday. Railways SI Nagappa conducted an investigation at the crime scene and subsequently moved the body for postmortem after registering a case.

Lastly, a 23-year-old girl named Soni took her own life by hanging herself at her residence in Veerappalli village, Peddapanjani mandal, Chittoor district. The police have registered a case and are currently conducting further investigations into the circumstances leading to her tragic decision.
