SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – A 28-year-old San Rafael woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of murdering her mother on Monday, according to the local police.

The victim, identified as Olivia Beltran, a 55-year-old woman, was found on the balcony of her apartment in the Terra Linda community with multiple stab wounds at around 5 p.m., officers reported.
The suspect, Tonantzyn Oris Beltran, who is believed to be the victim’s daughter, was discovered at the scene holding a knife and covered in blood, the police stated.
