Few details of the deadly shooting have been released.

However, a GoFundMe set up to help Hinn’s young family states “his life was tragically cut short by a senseless shooting incident while entering a Bell store.”

“We are shattered to convey the heartbreaking news of the unforeseen and tragic passing of Robert Hinn, a devoted 34-year-old husband and father,” the GoFundMe says.

“He leaves behind his grieving wife, Amanda, along with their 4-year-old son, Alexander, who bravely battles cystic fibrosis, and their 1-year-old, Jonathan.”

The GoFundMe adds Hinn put the well-being of his family “above all else.”

“The abrupt and tragic nature of Robert’s passing has left the Hinn family grappling with profound grief,” the GoFundMe explains. “As they navigate this heart-wrenching journey, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens they will face, and ongoing support for Amanda, Alexander, and Jonathan.”

The GoFundMe, which had raised just over $79,000 of its $90,000 goal as of Wednesday morning, aims to help the Hinn family with “day-to-day expenses, medical bills for Alexander’s cystic fibrosis treatments, and educational needs for both children.”

Police believe the gunman and at least one other person fled the area in a dark-coloured SUV after the shooting.

The shooter is described as a man who was wearing all dark clothing and a dark face mask.
