(WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department is actively searching for several wanted fugitives, including a man who has recently been added to the “Top 10 Most Wanted” list in connection with an attempted homicide. The list, which is updated every Wednesday on the Criminal Warrants Division Facebook page, features individuals who are considered to be some of the city’s most violent offenders.

This week’s list includes more than half of the suspects wanted on charges related to homicide, attempted homicide, or murder. Some of these cases date back over a year, while others will reach the one-year mark in the coming months. The remaining “Most Wanted” suspects in Nashville are accused of crimes such as rape by an authority figure, child endangerment, and aggravated assault.

One notable case involves a woman who was driving on the wrong side of I-40 with her child in the car when she crashed into a van head-on. While the search for these suspects continues, the “Most Wanted” list has been instrumental in aiding the police in making several arrests.

Since the launch of the program in October 2022, at least 81 people who have appeared on the list have been taken into custody. The public’s tips have played a crucial role in many of these cases, resulting in an impressive arrest rate of nearly 70% among the “Most Wanted” fugitives.

Here are the individuals who have made this week’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” list:

1. Lagarrion L. Blacksmith (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Lagarrion Blacksmith, 34, is this week’s top most wanted fugitive. He has been connected to a deadly shooting that occurred outside a Dickerson Pike bar earlier this year. Blacksmith is wanted for criminal homicide, attempted homicide, and felon in possession of a handgun.

2. Raceme Crutcher (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Raceme Crutcher, 21, has been wanted since July for his alleged involvement in a Fourth of July shooting at the Fallbrook Apartments on Dellway Villa Road. The shooting resulted in the death of Etabo Malanda, 16. Crutcher is still on the run.

3. De’Tynn Q. Smith (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – De’Tynn Smith, 20, is wanted in connection with the murder of Tywane Miller, 39, which occurred in April 2022. Smith is facing charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, and possession of a gun during the commission of a felony.

4. Kejuan Jordan-Cole (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Kejuan Jordan-Cole, 21, is believed to be one of seven suspects involved in a deadly shooting on the Fourth of July. The victim, Christopher L. Harris, 27, was shot multiple times. Jordan-Cole is wanted for criminal homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

5. Michael A. Yarlett (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Michael Yarlett, 28, is wanted on three counts of aided and abetted rape. The incident occurred over a year ago in September.

6. Terrance Boyd (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Terrance Boyd, 43, is wanted on an outstanding warrant for statutory rape by an authority figure.

7. Charles B. Scruggs (Courtesy: Metro Nashville Police Department) – Charles Scruggs, 49, is a new addition to the “Most Wanted” list and is wanted for aggravated assault.
