Missouri Man Charged with Murder After Shooting Incident
ST. LOUIS – In a shocking incident that left the community of St. Peters in Missouri in disbelief, an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly shooting another individual multiple times and attempting to conceal the crime scene. Jackson Pierce, the accused, is currently being held at the St. Charles County Jail on a bond set at $1 million.

According to statements provided by witnesses, Pierce and the victim, identified as 23-year-old Dalton Coleman, were present at a residence when Coleman’s behavior became increasingly erratic.
Allegedly, Pierce, hoping to distance himself from Coleman, retreated to a bedroom. However, Coleman forcefully entered the room and attempted to physically assault Pierce. A struggle for control of a firearm then ensued between the two individuals. Eventually, Pierce gained control of the weapon and tragically shot Coleman a shocking 14 times.

Upon further investigation, authorities discovered the horrifying extent of the injuries sustained by Coleman. The subsequent autopsy revealed that he had suffered approximately 15 gunshot wounds, indicating the extreme violence of the encounter.
Disturbingly, after the shooting, Pierce confessed to attempting to clean up the crime scene along with an accomplice. During a thorough search of the residence, law enforcement officers made a chilling discovery. Coleman’s lifeless body was found concealed within an air mattress, with a garbage bag tightly secured around his head.
