## Arrest Made in Fatal Stabbing at Lawrence McDonald’s

LAWRENCE, Mass. — Local authorities have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing incident that took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in Lawrence on Tuesday evening. They have also announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the alleged knife attack.

Law enforcement officers responded to a report of a fight in progress at the McDonald’s located at 50 Broadway at approximately 5 p.m. According to Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker, upon arrival, they discovered a man with an apparent stab wound.

The victim, identified as 32-year-old Kendrick Marcus Brown, received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to Lawrence Hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Lawrence police later identified Marcos A. Muniz, a 47-year-old individual, as the suspect in the stabbing incident. Muniz was subsequently arrested on a charge of murder. According to District Attorney Tucker, Muniz is expected to appear before a judge in Lawrence District Court on Wednesday.

In their ongoing investigation, Lawrence police are receiving assistance from state police detectives assigned to District Attorney Tucker’s office. Together, they are working diligently to gather evidence and uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
