Pune: Tragedy Strikes as Four-Year-Old Boy Falls to Death from Third-Floor Flat
Pune, India – In a heartbreaking incident, a four-year-old boy lost his life after falling through the window of a third-floor flat in a housing society located in Ambethan village, Khed taluka. The tragic accident occurred on Monday afternoon, leaving the entire community in shock and grief.
The Chakan Police Department reported that the accident took place while the young boy was playing in the bedroom of the flat. Unexpectedly, he approached the window and fell through the gap between its grilles, leading to a fatal outcome. The boy suffered severe injuries from the fall, and despite receiving immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Speaking about the incident, an officer from the Chakan Police Department stated, “We have registered a case of accidental death. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.”
The loss of a young life has left the entire community in mourning. The incident serves as a reminder to ensure the safety of children, especially when they are in high-rise buildings or near open windows. Authorities and housing societies are urged to take necessary precautions to prevent such accidents from happening in the future.

Bharti Khare was immediately admitted to AIIMS hospital for treatment, but sadly, she passed away on Tuesday night. The police have registered a case and initiated investigations into the incident.
Two succumb to injuries in separate road accidents
In Indore, a fruit seller named Sachin Sharma lost his life in a tragic road accident after being hit by a bus. He was on his way to his ancestral home in Maharashtra when the accident occurred near Manpur. Sachin Sharma was initially taken to CHC Dhamnod for treatment and later referred to MY Hospital, where he unfortunately passed away. Additionally, Take Singh Bhati also lost his life in MY Hospital following a road accident in Tejaji Nagar.
Mechanic injured in hospital AC blast, said to be alive, dies
Dilip Samantaray, who was mistakenly identified as mechanic Jyotiranjan Mallick, suffered burn injuries in an AC compressor blast. Tragically, Dilip passed away from his injuries. The incident had a devastating impact on Dilip’s family, leading to his wife, Soumyashree, committing suicide due to the overwhelming grief. The body will be sent to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for postmortem and DNA profiling.
