Investigation Launched into Fatal Shooting in Pulaski County

An inquiry has been initiated following a tragic incident of a fatal shooting that took place in Pulaski County over the past weekend. The incident occurred in the Science Hill community during the late hours of Saturday night, resulting in the untimely demise of 20-year-old Jason Hislope.

According to various reports, the unfortunate shooting transpired during a heated altercation between Hislope and another individual, identified as Jeremy Grundy.

Upon receiving the distress call, deputies swiftly arrived at the scene and immediately commenced life-saving measures, performing CPR on Hislope until the arrival of emergency medical services. Despite the determined efforts, Hislope succumbed to his injuries later at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the investigation is currently being conducted by the dedicated team at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
