Family Demands Justice for 18-Year-Old Woman Found Dead Near Buffalo Bayou in Houston
The family of an 18-year-old woman, Tierra Horn, whose lifeless body was discovered near downtown Houston along Buffalo Bayou, is seeking justice for her tragic death. The victim’s family reported her missing, and her body was found on Friday, leaving her loved ones devastated.
Rokeisha Calton, Horn’s elder sister, expressed the profound anguish she feels, wondering about her sister’s final moments. Calton shared, “I constantly ponder on what she last ate, what thoughts crossed her mind during the fatal incident, whether she called out for help. Essentially, I am haunted by the thoughts of her last moments.”
Seeking Answers and Closure
According to Calton, she had spoken to Horn on Tuesday while they were planning her upcoming 19th birthday celebration. The sudden and tragic turn of events has left the family grappling with confusion and a desperate desire to make sense of it all.
An autopsy performed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed that Horn’s death was a result of homicide. Calton revealed, “The only information I have been given is that her death involved compression of the neck.”
Investigation Underway
The Houston Police Department is diligently investigating the case, although no details regarding a potential motive or suspect have been released thus far.
