HENRICO COUNTY POLICE INVESTIGATING DOUBLE HOMICIDE IN FAIRFIELD DISTRICT
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division is currently conducting an extensive investigation into a tragic double homicide that occurred overnight in the Fairfield District.
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, at approximately 7:15 p.m., authorities received a distress call reporting a shooting and vehicle crash in the 200 block of Engleside Drive.
Upon arrival at the scene, responding officers discovered two individuals inside the crashed vehicle, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Tragically, one of the victims has been identified as 20-year-old Domonique Swan from Henrico, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, identified as 29-year-old Spencer Bartee, also from Henrico, was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, Bartee succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

A spokesperson for the Henrico Police expressed their deepest condolences to the families affected by this heartbreaking incident. They also urged the community to come forward with any information that might assist detectives in solving the case.
