New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, three teenagers have been accused of brutally murdering a man in the Badarpur area of Delhi on Wednesday morning, according to the police. The victim was repeatedly stabbed by the suspects and then mercilessly dragged across the road until his demise.

According to a report from NDTV, the police have successfully apprehended five individuals in connection with the murder. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South East Rajesh Dev stated that the victim, identified as Gaurav and a resident of Gautampuri, was subjected to approximately 25 stab wounds around 2:30 am on Wednesday.

The report further mentioned that the suspects attempted to flee the crime scene immediately after the heinous act. However, vigilant police officers patrolling the area managed to chase down three of the accused, with the remaining two being apprehended later.

DCP Rajesh Dev revealed that two head constables witnessed the suspects viciously attacking the helpless victim. Realizing the gravity of the situation, the constables sought assistance from another police team, effectively blocking the escape route. Out of the three apprehended suspects, two were identified as teenagers.

During subsequent investigations, it was discovered that one of the additional suspects apprehended was a minor. The motive behind this brutal murder is yet to be ascertained by the police.

The police report indicates that Gaurav fell victim to a sharp object used by the assailants. The body has been transferred to the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) mortuary for a post-mortem examination in order to gather crucial evidence and further insights into the incident.
