California Woman Arrested for Murder in New Orleans East

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A woman from California was apprehended by the New Orleans Police Department on Tuesday (Jan. 9) following allegations of her involvement in the murder of a man in New Orleans East last Saturday morning.
The suspect, identified as Tymonae J. Kelley, aged 34, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Larry Boudreaux on January 6.

If convicted of the crime, Kelley, a resident of Lancaster, California, could face a mandatory lifetime prison sentence.
The lifeless body of Larry Boudreaux was discovered inside a crashed vehicle at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Police indicated that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The car had crashed in the vicinity of Dale Street, close to the intersection with Chef Menteur Highway.
Although the New Orleans police have not provided further details, they stated in a press release that Tymonae J. Kelley was identified as the perpetrator of the fatal shooting. The arrest of Kelley took place on Tuesday, yet the authorities did not disclose the location of her apprehension.
Kelley is scheduled to appear in the Orleans Parish Magistrate Court on Wednesday afternoon, during which a bond consideration may take place.
