Man Fatally Shot Leaving Miami Dolphins Game After Altercation with Erratic Driver

A 30-year-old man was fatally shot as he was leaving Sunday’s Miami Dolphins game after getting into an altercation with a driver who was allegedly driving “erratically” and had struck a pedestrian, according to authorities.

The tragic incident occurred just before midnight on Sunday on a street near NW 27th Avenue in Miami Gardens, which is approximately a mile away from Hard Rock Stadium.

Upon receiving a report of a person shot, officers arrived at the scene to find the victim, identified as Dylan Isaacs, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the intervention of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Isaacs succumbed to his injuries.

Isaacs, a Bills fan from Six Nations, Canada, was leaving the Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills game with his friends when the incident occurred, as confirmed by Miami Gardens police. A GoFundMe page has been set up by a family friend to raise funds for repatriating Isaacs’ body back home.

As they made their way back to their car, an altercation ensued between Isaacs and the driver of a Honda Accord, who allegedly exhibited erratic driving behavior and had previously struck a pedestrian, according to the authorities.

The situation escalated when the driver brandished a firearm, firing shots that struck Isaacs before fleeing the scene, as reported by the police. On Monday, the Honda Accord was located in Palm Beach County and subsequently seized for further investigation. Although the suspect has been identified and interviewed by the authorities, their identity has not yet been released.
