SWAT Team Responds to Reedley Home Related to Triple Homicide Investigation

REEDLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a SWAT team arrived at a residence next door to where the Reedley Police Department discovered three deceased individuals on Saturday. The incident occurred on the 1100 block of South Church Avenue in Reedley.

The Reedley Police Department has confirmed that the SWAT team’s presence is connected to the ongoing investigation into the triple homicide case.

Authorities anticipate being present at the scene for the next four hours as they carry out their investigation.

According to the police, the two victims have been identified as 81-year-old Billy Bonds and 44-year-old Guadalupe Bonds, both of whom were residing in the residence at the time of the incident.

As of now, the identity of the third victim found at the location has not been officially disclosed. Additionally, the cause of death for the three victims remains undisclosed.

Authorities are currently on the lookout for a person described as “at-risk,” identified as 43-year-old Matthew Bonds.

The Reedley Police Department initially received a call about the residence on Saturday morning.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two lifeless bodies in the backyard, prompted by a family member who reported suspicions of a burglary. Subsequently, the third body was discovered shortly after.

Law enforcement officials believe a crime has taken place, supported by evidence of forced entry into the property. Several weapons were also reported missing.
