Following a thorough investigation, law enforcement officials determined that the victim was a passenger in a car driven by a 23-year-old female, accompanied by a 19-year-old male passenger. Charlie Camiel, an acquaintance of the driver, initiated the incident by actively seeking out the driver’s vehicle. Camiel proceeded to chase her car with his own vehicle, even resorting to dangerous tactics in an attempt to force her off the road.

As the driver tried to evade Camiel’s pursuit, he fired multiple shots at her vehicle, ultimately hitting the 28-year-old female victim in the back seat. The driver lost control of her car due to the attack and collided with a power pole.

Authorities quickly issued a description of Camiel’s vehicle to all officers, leading them to locate it at a residence in the 1500 block of East Park Avenue. Without any resistance, officers took Camiel into custody at his residence.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel were summoned to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, gathering evidence and collecting vital information.
