Two police officers from Delhi lost their lives in a tragic accident when their car collided with a truck near the Kundali border in Sonipat district, Haryana, as reported by officials today.
The unfortunate incident took place around 11:30 pm on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Inspector Dinesh Beniwal, who was serving in the Special Staff of the Northwest district, and ATO Inspector Ranveer, posted at Adarsh Nagar police station. They were on their way back to their homes in Sonipat, traveling in a personal vehicle, according to the police.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, confirmed a senior officer from Haryana Police.
