Shocking Incident: Police Personnel Allegedly Assault and Humiliate Student in Kanpur

Kanpur, United Kingdom – In a shocking incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, police personnel and a group of men are accused of thrashing a student, firing a bullet to scare him, and subjecting him to degrading acts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police acted promptly and arrested three individuals, including the head constable identified as Dharmendra Yadav from the Local Intelligence Unit. The other arrested persons were identified as Ayush Mishra and Nandu Dubey, both residents of Kalyanpur. However, several individuals involved in the incident have reportedly gone into hiding, prompting the police to form multiple teams to track them down.

Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Nilabja Choudhury, stated that the arrested head constable has been suspended and will face a departmental inquiry in addition to legal action. The authorities are determined to ensure that all those involved in the heinous act are held accountable.

Providing details about the incident, Kalyanpur Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abhishek Kumar Pandey stated that Ayush had come to the Civil Lines area accompanied by his friend Abhishek alias Bittu. They had arrived to meet a girl after Ayush received a request on his Instagram account. However, upon reaching the location, Ayush and Bittu were confronted by a group of individuals in a car.

The ACP further revealed that Ayush was taken at gunpoint inside the car and transported to the railway tracks near Cooperganj. One of the individuals, Himanshu Yadav, even contacted his father, Dharmendra Yadav, who is a head constable, during the incident. This revelation adds a disturbing dimension to the involvement of law enforcement personnel in the assault.
