Shakira Shanay Mozie, a 34-year-old teacher at Discovery Elementary School in Sunrise, Florida, was last seen on Christmas Eve, leaving a holiday party in West Park. However, she did not make it home. Mozie had embarked on her journey in her white SUV, with someone else behind the wheel. Broward County Sheriff’s Office revealed that her lifeless body was discovered later that same day, at approximately 7 p.m., on the Florida Turnpike.

Investigation and the Boyfriend

Preliminary investigations conducted by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office indicate that Mozie’s injuries are consistent with those sustained from falling out of a moving vehicle. Authorities have questioned the sole known occupant of the car, identified as Mozie’s boyfriend.
