Massachusetts Man Arrested for Attempted Child Luring

A man from Ludlow, Massachusetts is facing serious charges after allegedly attempting to lure two young girls into his car outside a Walgreens store in downtown Ludlow. Michael Wilson, a 35-year-old resident of Ludlow, was arrested on Saturday and has been charged with the felony of enticement of a child under the age of 16, as well as disorderly conduct. The Ludlow police responded to reports of a suspicious man watching two young girls in the area of 65 East St. at around 12:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officers discovered a gray Toyota Camry parked against the flow of traffic on East Street, obstructing the westbound lane. Two women, later identified as the mothers of the girls, were seen engaging with the driver of the Camry, who was later identified as Michael Wilson. According to investigators, the two girls had noticed Wilson watching them while they were making a purchase at the Walgreens located at 54 East St. He then approached them in the parking lot, prompting the girls to seek safety by finding their parents.

The arrest of Michael Wilson was carried out without any incidents, and he is currently being held on a cash bail of $15,040. The arraignment took place on Monday morning at the Palmer District Court, as confirmed by the Ludlow police.

Investigations revealed that the two girls had noticed Wilson watching them while they were inside the Walgreens store at 54 East St. They became alarmed when he approached them in the parking lot, and quickly sought their parents for safety.

Michael Wilson was arrested without any issues and is currently being held on a cash bail of $15,040. He appeared at the Palmer District Court for his arraignment on Monday morning, as confirmed by the Ludlow police.
