Two Delhi Police Officers killed in Car-Truck Collision in Sonipat, Haryana
Tragedy struck late on Monday night as two Delhi Police officials lost their lives in a devastating car accident near the Kondali border of Sonipat district in Haryana. The collision occurred when their vehicle collided with a truck. The incident has left the police force and their families in deep sorrow.

The unfortunate incident took place around 11.30 pm when the two officers, Inspector Dinesh Beniwal and ATO Inspector Ranveer, were returning home in Sonipat in a private car. According to the police, the dense fog obstructed their vision, making it impossible for them to spot the truck parked on the roadside. As a result, their vehicle collided with the truck, leading to the tragic loss of their lives.
A senior Delhi Police officer expressed his condolences and shared, “Inspector Dinesh Beniwal was serving as part of the northwest district Special Staff, while ATO Inspector Ranveer was posted at the Adarsh Nagar Police station. They were dedicated officers who served their duties with utmost sincerity.”
The bodies of the deceased officers have been sent for postmortem. Once the autopsy is completed, their remains will be handed over to their grieving families for the final rites.
