The accused, Suchana Seth, insisted on traveling by taxi only. Consequently, a vehicle was arranged on January 8, and she left early in the morning. Later, when the apartment staff went to clean the room where Seth had stayed, they discovered blood stains on a towel. Inspector Naik added, “The accused informed us that the blood stains were a result of her monthly period. She also claimed that her son was with her friend in Margao town, located in South Goa, and provided an address.” The police, however, soon realized that the address given by the accused was false. They sought assistance from the Fatorda police near Margao, who, upon further investigation, confirmed that the provided location was not genuine. In collaboration with the authorities, Inspector Naik contacted the taxi driver who transported Seth to Bengaluru. The police in Chitradurga, Karnataka, inspected the woman’s bag and made a horrifying discovery – the lifeless body of the child.
