Upon their arrival, the responding officers were directed to the rear balcony of one of the apartments. There, they were confronted with a distressing sight. A woman, later identified as the suspect, stood on the balcony holding a knife, while a female victim, drenched in blood, lay beside her. The officers immediately engaged with the suspect, attempting to de-escalate the situation from the balcony.

Tragic Findings Inside the Apartment

Meanwhile, other officers swiftly entered the apartment to assess the situation further. Inside, they discovered a 55-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. Recognizing the severity of her injuries, emergency measures were taken to transport her to the hospital as quickly as possible. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the victim tragically succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
