New Delhi, January 9 (PTI) – In a heart-wrenching incident, a 32-year-old woman identified as Seema and her two-year-old son named Daksh lost their lives after being hit by a motorcycle near the bustling Madipur metro station, according to the local police. The tragic accident occurred on Monday, leaving the entire community in shock.

The police have identified the motorcyclist as Prashant Srivastava, who also sustained injuries in the incident. The authorities received an urgent PCR call at 6.45 pm, alerting them about the fatal accident near the Madipur metro station. Responding swiftly, a team was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance.

According to the police, they discovered a motorcycle near the accident site. Subsequently, the Maharaja Agrasen hospital reported three medicolegal cases related to the incident. Tragically, Seema and her son Daksh were declared brought dead upon arrival at the hospital. Meanwhile, Prashant Srivastava, the rider of the two-wheeler, was found injured and is currently receiving medical attention.

Providing details about the incident, a senior police officer stated, “We were informed that a speeding motorcycle collided with Srivastava’s bike, which then hit Seema and her son. They were crossing the road when this unfortunate accident occurred.”
