Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Three and Injures Three Others While Erecting Superstar Yash’s Birthday Cut-Out

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a group of individuals faced a devastating accident while setting up a magnificent cut-out of the beloved superstar Yash to commemorate his birthday. Unfortunately, this joyous celebration turned into a nightmare as three people lost their lives, and three others sustained severe injuries.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of Monday in the serene Soranagi village, near Lakshmeshwar town, located in Gadag district, Karnataka. The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital, where their condition is being closely monitored.

Identified as Hanumantha Harijan, Murali Nadumani, and Naveen Gaji, the deceased individuals were just 24, 20, and 20 years old, respectively. On the other hand, Manjunath Harijan, Prakash Myageri, and Deepak Harijan suffered grave injuries during the mishap.

This unfortunate incident occurred as a group of enthusiastic youths from the village came together to erect a spectacular cut-out, expressing their unwavering admiration for the superstar Yash, who gained immense popularity through the ‘KGF’ series. Their intention was to extend their heartfelt wishes to the actor on January 8, which marked his special day. However, due to the absence of adequate lighting during the night, the victims were unable to perceive the presence of a high-tension electric wire in their vicinity.

Following the incident, Chandru Lamani, the local MLA, paid a visit to the injured individuals at the Lakshmeshwar hospital, where he offered his condolences to the grieving families of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident.

H.K. Patil, the district in-charge Minister, expressed his deep concern over the incident. He stated that he had already gathered information from the DC and SP and would discuss the matter with CM Siddaramaiah regarding appropriate compensatory measures for the victims.

Providing further insights into the incident, SP B.S. Nemagoud mentioned that a group of approximately nine ardent fans of Yash had gathered to install a cut-out adorned with an iron frame. Tragically, during the process, the frame came into contact with the high-voltage electric wire, leading to this unfortunate turn of events. He added that the condition of two injured individuals remains critical, requiring utmost medical attention.

The friends of the deceased and their bereaved families have fervently demanded Yash’s presence in the village to pay respects and console them during this trying time.
