Three Men Electrocuted While Installing Flex to Celebrate Kannada Actor Yash’s Birthday

Three individuals tragically lost their lives in Karnataka’s Gadag district in the early hours of Monday. The incident occurred while they were in the process of installing a flex banner to commemorate the birthday of renowned Kannada film actor, Yash.

The police have identified the deceased as Hanumanth Harijan (24), Murali Naduvinamani (20), and Naveen Gaaji (20). The unfortunate accident took place in Suranagi village, situated in the Laxmeshwar taluk of Gadag district, at approximately 1 am.

Babasaheb Nemagouda, the Superintendent of Police in Gadag, stated, “During the process of setting up the banner, three individuals were electrocuted, and three others sustained injuries. The banner had a metal frame that came into contact with a HESCOM wire. A case has been registered at the Lakshmeshwar Police Station, and we will conduct a thorough investigation.”

The three injured individuals were immediately transported to the district hospital for further medical attention.

Chandru Lamani, Shirhatti MLA, visited the accident site and urged the public to refrain from erecting metallic frame banners. He also requested Yash, the popular actor, to visit the families of the deceased individuals as a gesture of support.

Chandru Lamani, the Shirhatti MLA, visited the accident site and issued an appeal to the public, urging them to refrain from erecting banners with metallic frames. Lamani also extended a request to Yash, the popular actor, to visit the bereaved families as a gesture of solidarity.

Yash, who gained immense popularity for his role in the movie KGF, is celebrating his birthday on January 8. In a recent social media post on January 4, the actor expressed his regret at being unable to meet his fans on his special day due to prior commitments.
