Tragic Incident in Bihar: Woman Murders Husband for Hindering Instagram Reels Creation

In a shocking and heartbreaking incident that unfolded in Bihar’s Begusarai, a woman has been arrested for murdering her husband after he tried to prevent her from creating Instagram reels. The gruesome act took place on Sunday, January 7th, around 9 PM, leaving the entire community in shock and disbelief.

The victim, Maheshwar Kumar Ray, originally hailed from Narhan village in Samastipur district and worked as a laborer in Kolkata. He had recently returned to his village and unfortunately met his untimely demise at the hands of his own wife, Rani Kumari, with the assistance of her family.

An Altercation Arises Over Instagram Reels

The incident occurred in Fafaut village, falling under the jurisdiction of Khodabandpur Police Station. Maheshwar’s wife, Rani Kumari, who is from Fafaut village, had been creating videos for Instagram reels. However, her husband disapproved of her online activities and attempted to prevent her from continuing.

As tensions escalated, a heated dispute broke out between the couple over the issue of Instagram reels. Matters quickly spiraled out of control, leading to a fatal outcome. Rani Kumari, along with her family members, allegedly strangled Maheshwar to death.

Disturbing Discovery and Arrest

The tragedy came to light when Maheshwar’s brother called him from Kolkata and an unfamiliar voice answered the phone. Alarmed by this unusual response, Maheshwar’s brother immediately contacted their father and urged him to rush to Fafaut village.

Upon arrival, Maheshwar’s father discovered the lifeless body of his son. The police were alerted to the harrowing incident and swiftly arrived at the scene. They took custody of the deceased’s body, sending it for a post-mortem examination.

The authorities wasted no time in apprehending Rani Kumari, the wife of the deceased, following a complaint lodged by Maheshwar’s relatives. She was promptly taken into custody to face the dire consequences of her alleged crime.

The investigation into the case has revealed that Maheshwar was on the brink of returning to Kolkata. Before embarking on his journey, he decided to visit his in-laws in Fafaut village, unaware of the horrific fate that awaited him.

The deceased’s relatives have accused Rani Kumari and her family of murder, further fueling the intensity of the case.
