Mississippi Mother Fatally Shot by Father of Her Child While Newborn Was at Home

A tragic incident unfolded in Mississippi as a mother of four, Shaterica Queshun Bell, was shot and killed by the father of her child while her newborn baby was at home. The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to a distressing 911 call made by a child from a neighboring home, who reported that their mother had been shot inside their apartment. The harrowing incident occurred late on Friday evening, at approximately 9:50 p.m., in Robinsonville, a town located 30 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers were confronted with the sound of additional gunshots emanating from inside the apartment. Disturbingly, two more children were found outside the residence. The investigative team on site discovered that a man, a woman, and their newborn were present in the home during the horrifying incident.

They then established contact with the male suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Donald Demario Patrick, who was still inside the apartment.
