New York State Police Identify Montreal Woman killed in Lake George Tour Bus Crash

MONTREAL – The New York State Police have recently identified Jeanne Elzanie Jourdan Colin, a 74-year-old Montreal resident, as the unfortunate victim who lost her life in a tragic tour bus accident that occurred in Lake George, N.Y., on Friday.

According to authorities, the incident resulted in the death of one individual, while another remains in critical condition at an Albany, N.Y., hospital. The accident transpired when a Skyway Coach Line tour bus, en route from Montreal to New York City, crashed on U.S. Highway 87.

Reports suggest that the majority of the 23 passengers on board were Canadian nationals, with at least two individuals hailing from Switzerland. The Canadian government’s Global Affairs department has confirmed that consular assistance is being provided to the family of the 74-year-old victim.

The New York State Police are currently conducting an ongoing investigation and have decided not to disclose any information regarding the remaining victims at this time.
