Identity of Man Fatally Shot on New Year’s Eve in Valencia Revealed by Coroner’s Office
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has identified the individual who was shot and killed in Valencia on New Year’s Eve. The victim has been identified as Devin Marshall, a 37-year-old resident of Valencia.
According to reports from the Coroner’s Office, Devin Marshall was shot on December 31, 2023, at approximately 4:30 a.m. The incident took place on the 25700 block of Vista Fairways Drive in Valencia, which is just a few streets away from Marshall’s last known address.
After being shot, Marshall was immediately transported to a local hospital. Tragically, he was later pronounced dead.
Following the incident, one person of interest was taken into custody when they returned to the scene of the crime later that same day. However, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) officials subsequently released the individual without pressing any charges.
The murder investigation is currently ongoing, and no suspects have been publicly identified at this time.
