The Little Rock Police Department has officially announced the identity of the victim involved in a tragic shooting incident that occurred last Friday in the Capitol View area of the city. The victim has been identified as Christopher Hurvey, according to a recent news release by the Police Department.

The unfortunate shooting incident took place around 11 a.m. on Friday, specifically on West 11th Street. Patrol officers from the 12th Street Division swiftly responded to a distress call reporting a man bleeding from his chest area at 3312 W. 11th St.

Upon their arrival, the officers were able to establish contact with the shooting victim, who was later identified as Christopher Hurvey. Paramedics, who promptly arrived at the scene, made valiant efforts to save his life before rushing him to a nearby hospital. Tragically, Hurvey succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, as stated in the official police report.

Further investigation by the authorities revealed that Hurvey had sustained a gunshot wound. A blood trail leading from his body to the porch of 3113 W. 11th St became a vital clue in determining the nature of the incident, as documented in the report.
