Kim Jung Hoon Identified as Actor Involved in Traffic Accident and Breathalyzer Test Refusal
Kim Jung Hoon, a 44-year-old actor and singer, has been identified as the individual responsible for causing a traffic accident while under the influence and subsequently refusing to take a police breathalyzer test.

The Seoul Suseo Police Station recently reported that Kim Jung Hoon has been booked for violating the Road Traffic Act by refusing a breathalyzer test and is currently under investigation.
This incident took place in the early hours of December 29th, last year, at around 3:30 AM in Ilwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Kim Jung Hoon was driving when he changed lanes and collided with a vehicle ahead of him.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police requested Kim Jung Hoon to undergo a breathalyzer test on three separate occasions, but he consistently refused. Consequently, he has been charged with refusing a breathalyzer test in accordance with the Road Traffic Act.
Following the accident, Kim Jung Hoon was escorted to the police station for questioning. However, he was allowed to return home voluntarily. The police are planning to summon him again soon to investigate the reasons behind his refusal to take the breathalyzer test and to gather more details about the accident.
Initially, the case was reported involving a 40-year-old actor-singer, but it was later revealed to be Kim Jung Hoon. It is noteworthy that he had his license revoked in July 2011 due to a previous DUI charge, raising concerns that his recent refusal to undergo testing was an attempt to avoid another DUI charge.
Kim Jung Hoon, who had previously halted his entertainment activities due to personal controversies involving an ex-girlfriend, has once again caught public attention amid this latest controversy. Despite holding fan meetings, he has not made any appearances on broadcasts. Moreover, his recent New Year’s greetings to fans via his social media accounts, following his booking for refusing a breathalyzer test, have been heavily criticized for their inconsiderate nature.
