Two Found Dead in Reedley Home Identified as Billy Bonds, 81, and Guadalupe Bonds, 44

REEDLEY, Calif. – Over the weekend, the bodies of two individuals were discovered at a residence in Reedley. The victims have been identified as 81-year-old Billy Bonds and 44-year-old Guadalupe Bonds. The Reedley Police Chief, Joe Garza, announced that the third person found at the scene has yet to be identified.

On Saturday, law enforcement responded to a property located at the intersection of Church and Curtis Avenues. The authorities were alerted by a family member who reported evidence of a burglary. Tragically, during their investigation, the police discovered three bodies inside the residence, indicating signs of foul play.

The cause of death for the victims has not been disclosed as autopsies are pending. Chief Garza revealed that a safe containing firearms was found open at the scene, but no weapons were present. This revelation raises further questions about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities have designated Matthew Bonds, a resident of the home, as a person of interest. Due to his health issues, Matthew is considered at risk. Despite receiving possible leads from family members regarding his whereabouts, law enforcement has been unable to locate him thus far.

The Reedley Police Department is treating this case as both a murder and a burglary, and investigations are ongoing. As more information becomes available, it is expected to shed light on the tragic events that unfolded in Reedley over the weekend.
