29-Year-Old Woman Identified as Victim in Fatal Moreno Valley Crash

MORENO VALLEY, CA — In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old woman lost her life in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Moreno Valley. The victim has been identified as Maritza Flores from San Bernardino, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Details of the Crash
The fatal crash took place at the intersection of Eucalyptus Avenue and Sweetspice Street at approximately 6:51 p.m. on Saturday. The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene.
The authorities have reported that the Nissan Altima, driven by Maritza Flores, struck a power pole after the driver lost control. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Additional Injuries
Another occupant who was in the vehicle at the time of the crash sustained serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.
