Teen Fatally Shot in Atlantic City

A heart-wrenching incident took place in Atlantic City on Friday, claiming the life of a 14-year-old and leaving a 16-year-old injured in a shooting. The Atlantic City Police Department was alerted to the disturbance and possible gunshots in the 3300 block of Atlantic Avenue around 10:48 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two teenagers with gunshot wounds lying on the sidewalk and roadway. The 16-year-old, identified as A.C., was rushed to AtlantiCare Medical Center. Thankfully, his leg wound was treated, and he was released after a few hours. However, the second teenager, F.G., suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was immediately transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, F.G. tragically succumbed to his injuries on Saturday at 3:27 p.m. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the incident, alongside the Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit and Major Crimes Unit.

Gas Station Robbery in Little Ferry Township

In an alarming incident in Little Ferry Township, two unidentified individuals wearing ski masks targeted a gas station, leaving the community on high alert. The robbery occurred on Sunday, and both suspects managed to escape, evading capture.

According to media reports, one of the suspects, described as a Black man wearing a ski mask and a blue jacket, approached the gas station attendant, requesting a beverage. Meanwhile, the second suspect, also a Black man wearing a ski mask, donned a white hoodie and brandished a firearm. This individual forcefully emptied the victim’s pockets, seizing their belongings.

Not stopping at robbing the attendant, the culprits proceeded to empty the cash register before swiftly fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The incident is currently under investigation, with law enforcement agencies determined to bring these individuals to justice.

Tragic Accident Claims a Life in Freehold

In an unfortunate turn of events, a man from Freehold lost his life after a horrifying accident at a gas station and service shop in Jackson. The incident occurred on Saturday morning, around 9 a.m., while the victim was working on a vehicle at GasTime.

Tragically, the vehicle unexpectedly fell on the man, causing severe injuries. Despite the immediate attempts to resuscitate him, the man could not be saved, and he succumbed to his injuries. News of this devastating accident has left the community in mourning.
